For our client, we are looking for an experienced freelance project manager (m/f/d) in the field of automation of conveyor technology for demanding projects in the logistics environment. You take on the responsibility for the management and coordination of several parallel projects and oversee their implementation until successful commissioning.
Tasks:
  • Implementation of the project „Automation of the conveying technology“ directly on site at the customer
  • Management and coordination of several parallel projects until successful commissioning
  • Management of interdisciplinary teams as well as external partners and suppliers
  • Accompanying tests, measurements and quality checks
  • Ensuring efficient project progress, including schedule, cost and risk management
  • Active stakeholder management and regular communication with customers and project participants
  • Coordination of all project phases, from budget planning to supplier selection to delivery to the customer
Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or a comparable qualification
  • Professional experience in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, process engineering or a comparable field
  • Years of experience in managing complex projects or in program management
  • Thorough experience in managing the entire project and program lifecycle
  • Safe handling of Excel and Microsoft Project
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD or similar design tools
  • Experience in managing various stakeholders, including external suppliers
  • Experience in commissioning automated machines and complete systems
  • Knowledge of KPI reporting and corresponding analysis tools, such as Power BI
  • Knowledge of Six-Sigma methods and process improvement techniques
  • Good English skills in writing and speaking
