Here you will find answers to frequently asked questions about working with Artemis Synergy – from applying as a freelancer to hiring the right specialists for your projects.
Artemis Synergy provides specialized freelancers for demanding technical projects. We connect companies with freelance experts whose project experience, professional background, availability, and terms match the specific needs.
Our goal is not to send out as many profiles as possible. First, we want to understand what expertise is actually needed, and then we specifically search within our technical project markets and freelance networks. Companies and freelancers are personally supported during the matching process.
Artemis Synergy focuses on two technical project worlds with a total of eight clearly defined segments.
The project world of Automation & Logistics includes:
Machine and special-purpose machinery manufacturing, automation and control technology, robotics, and conveyor technology & intralogistics.
The project world of construction and engineering includes:
Civil engineering, underground construction & infrastructure, energy & supply as well as industrial plants & process industry.
Within these segments, we additionally consider specific technologies, project experience, areas of responsibility, and professional expertise. This allows requirements to be structured much more specifically than in a generally oriented approach to communication.
We don’t want to be present in every market – but rather to be truly excellent in our markets. That’s why Artemis deliberately focuses exclusively on the two project areas of Automation & Logistics and Construction & Engineering. We deliberately leave other areas out of the equation. This means that our consultants are constantly dealing with the same markets, companies, projects, and specialists every day and are continuously building their network and expertise there.
Our CRM now includes around 5,000 specialized freelance profiles from exactly these project niches. This means that we can already present the first suitable candidates within 24 hours for many inquiries. Our goal is not to send out as many resumes as possible, but to quickly understand what is really needed, to specifically target the right market and present suitable specialists. We don’t want to be able to do everything. We want to be among the best in our project niches.
Yes. Artemis Synergy consistently focuses on the recruitment of freelance experts for technical projects. Traditional permanent positions are not part of our recruitment model.
This clear focus enables us to fully align our processes and networks with project-based engagements. This allows companies to flexibly respond to additional capacity requirements, specialized expertise, or time-critical project phases.
Artemis Synergy is not limited to a single location. Depending on the project requirements, we assign freelancers to projects in different regions, taking into account both traditional on-site deployments and hybrid and partially fully remote projects.
Furthermore, we also work across national borders. What is crucial is always whether the professional requirements, the project location, the willingness to travel, availability, and the intended deployment model are compatible with each other.
They let us know what support you need. Together we discuss the most important requirements and then specifically search for suitable specialists. You receive selected profiles and decide for yourself who you would like to meet. If a candidate matches your requirements, we take care of the further steps until the project starts.
Artemis already supports projects in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Great Britain. Due to the increasing demand from international clients, we are currently expanding our network to the USA, Saudi Arabia and Morocco. In this way, we are gradually developing Artemis into an international partner for specialized freelancers in our project worlds.
Freelancers are independent specialists who support companies for a specific period of time or a specific project. They are particularly suitable when additional capacity is needed on short notice, when in-house expertise is lacking, or when you want to undertake additional projects without having to directly hire new employees.
If you have found an interesting project, you can apply directly through the respective project page. The project details, such as the project ID, position, and professional classification, are already linked to your application, so you do not have to enter this information again.
They simply complement your personal details, project experience, availability, and framework conditions, and upload your current freelance profile or resume. We then review your documents and match your experience with the specific project requirements. If there is a suitable basis, we will contact you personally.
Yes. You can also proactively add your freelance profile to Artemis Synergy. Especially in the project business, new needs often arise in a short time. An already existing and current profile allows us to get in touch with you more quickly if a suitable request arises.
Among other things, we take into account your professional expertise, previous project experience, preferred regions, availability, deployment models, and other factors. Your profile is not passed on indiscriminately; it is only considered if there is a specific professional match to a project.
The most important thing is an up-to-date and meaningful freelance profile or resume that clearly demonstrates your actual project experience. Specific details about previous projects, tasks, responsibilities, technologies used, and industries are particularly helpful.
In addition, you can – if relevant – upload project lists, certificates, qualification certificates or other documents. The clearer your previous projects and professional areas of expertise are presented, the better we can assess which project requests your profile is suitable for.
Not every individual requirement must necessarily be met. However, what is crucial is the distinction between Must-haves and additional or desirable qualifications.
Must-haves are requirements that are actually necessary for the specific task. For other points, relevant project experience can be somewhat more important than an exact match with every single formulation. If you are very well suited to a project from a technical standpoint but are unsure about individual points, you can still apply. We will assess the suitability individually.
After receiving your application, we will first review your details and your previous project experience in light of the specific project. If your profile is generally suitable for the requirements, we will personally discuss relevant parameters such as availability, deployment model, hourly rate, willingness to travel, and technical details with you.
In the next step, your profile can be presented to the company after appropriate coordination. If there is interest on the customer side, we coordinate the further communication or a meeting to get to know each other. If collaboration occurs, we will accompany you through the project start and remain reachable even during the project implementation.
Thanks to our specialized network and our candidate pool, we can present the first suitable profiles within 24 hours for many requirements.
The search and selection of suitable freelancers is initially free of charge for you. Costs only arise as part of a successful engagement, in the form of a fee that is included in the respective daily or hourly rate of the candidate being placed.
As a rule, an hourly or daily rate is agreed upon. Payment is made based on the actual project time spent and confirmed. The exact terms and conditions will be discussed with you transparently before the project begins.
You can submit your request directly through our request form. We will then collect the most important information about the project, the position sought, the tasks, the professional requirements, the planned start date, the workload, and the organizational and economic conditions.
After receiving the request, we will discuss the needs in person with you. In doing so, we will clarify any open points and ensure that we understand the actual task behind the position title. Only then will the targeted search and selection of suitable freelancers begin.
No. The presentation of our candidates is non-binding. You decide for yourself whether a profile is interesting and whether you would like to have a conversation or work together.
The more precisely we understand the actual project requirement, the more targeted we can be in our search. Particularly important are the sought-after position, the specific tasks, mandatory must-haves, relevant technologies or systems, the project duration, the desired workload, the start date, the location, and the working model.
Economic factors such as hourly or daily rates and the planned selection process also help us make a realistic assessment. The goal is not to gather as much information as possible, but to identify in advance those factors that determine whether a freelancer is truly suitable for your project.
No. You do not need to have finalized every detail already. However, a fundamental and concrete need should be present: it should be clear what support is needed, what task should be taken on, and what professional requirements are particularly important.
Open points can be clarified together in a personal conversation. Especially in the case of new project phases or short-term needs, individual requirements often only emerge during the coordination process. What is crucial is that the request leads to a real project need.
This depends heavily on the requirements of the specific project. Factors such as required project experience, technologies used, location, start date, workload, work model, and budget all influence the availability of suitable freelancers.
However, due to our specialization and the continuous development of technical freelance networks, we do not necessarily start from scratch with a new request. Once the need is clearly defined, we can specifically search for suitable experts and qualify relevant profiles.
It is also important that the company processes things quickly afterwards. Sought-after freelancers often conduct several project discussions simultaneously. Time kills deals – long feedback times can lead to a very suitable freelancer taking on another project in the meantime.
This depends on your project. Assignments can last a few weeks, several months, or even over an extended period of time. Many of our specialists accompany clients through several project phases. We individually agree on the duration and scope with you.
Then we continue our search. Our goal is not to match you with any candidate, but to find a specialist who is suitable for your project both professionally and personally.
We do not only consider professional titles or individual keywords in the resume. What is crucial is the actual project experience behind a profile.
To do this, we examine, among other things, professional must-haves, previous tasks and responsibilities, technologies and systems, industry knowledge, availability, deployment model, and other project-specific framework conditions. The goal is to make a targeted selection so that you receive as many relevant profiles as possible, rather than as many as possible.
Yes. Especially when there is a short-term need for capacity or specialist expertise, the use of freelancers offers great flexibility. Through our specialization, we can specifically leverage existing networks.
Yes. Freelancers don’t just have to overcome classic staffing shortages. Additional external capacity can, for example, allow you to take on more orders, implement projects faster, or specifically purchase specialized expertise without having to increase your permanent staffing structure.
Yes. Project requirements can also include several freelancers or different roles simultaneously. This is useful, for example, during larger project phases, commissioning, construction projects, ramp-up phases, or additional capacity requirements.
In doing so, we can separately identify and categorize the individual requirements. What is crucial is that for each role it is clear which tasks, must-haves, and framework conditions apply. This also allows a larger need to be handled in a structured manner.
The collaboration begins with your needs statement. Subsequently, we personally discuss tasks, must-haves, project conditions, and priorities with you. Based on this, we specifically search for suitable freelancers and prequalify relevant profiles.
You will then select selected freelancers and decide which experts you would like to meet. We coordinate the next steps and support the process until the project starts.
Even after that, Artemis Synergy remains your personal contact person. Our goal is not just to facilitate a single transaction; our goal is to build a deeper understanding of your project requirements, so that future needs can be addressed even more quickly and effectively.
No. That’s exactly what we’re here to help you with. You explain your needs to us, and we’ll guide you from the initial search to the selection and project launch. So you don’t need any experience in hiring freelancers.
