We are looking for an experienced freelance PLC programmer / automation technician (m/f/d) for our client in Langenfeld to develop and implement control concepts as well as to support international project assignments.
Tasks:
Development and implementation of control concepts for automated production systems
Programming, customization and optimization of PLC controls using the Siemens Simatic S7 TIA Portal
Analysis and optimization of control and production processes
Support for commissioning and technical support of systems
Conducting international project assignments with a limited duration of travel
Technical coordination with customers and project participants
Profile:
Completed degree in electrical engineering, training as a state-certified technician (m/f/d) or equivalent qualification
Experience in developing control concepts
Good knowledge of PLC programming with Siemens Simatic S7 TIA Portal
Knowledge of Simatic S7 Classic or other PLC systems is an advantage
Good understanding of production processes and quick thinking
Very good German language skills and English language skills at least at level B2
Further foreign language skills are an advantage
Worldwide willingness to travel for shorter assignments (approx. 50 % of working time)
Strong communication skills, independent working style and high customer orientation
