We are looking for freelance designers for customer projects in the field of machine and special-purpose machinery construction. Our main focus is on the development and design of special machines, assemblies, and automated production equipment.
Tasks:
Development and design of mechanical components, assemblies and machines according to technical requirements
Creation and editing of 3D models, manufacturing drawings and bill of materials
Design of components taking into account function, manufacturing and assembly
Adaptation and further development of existing machine concepts
Technical coordination with electrical design, automation, manufacturing and suppliers
Assistance with technical clarifications during assembly and commissioning
Maintenance of design documentation and documentation of changes
Profile:
Studies in mechanical engineering, further training as a technician or equivalent qualification
Years of experience in mechanical design in machine or special-purpose machinery manufacturing
Very good knowledge of at least one common 3D CAD system, such as SolidWorks, Inventor or Creo
Experience in manufacturing-oriented drawing output and part list creation
Knowledge in the selection and design of mechanical components
Independent, structured working methods and secure technical communication
Good German language skills; English language skills for international projects are an advantage
